Portugal-based designer Lia Goncalves combines jewelry and design with a contemporary approach, reflecting a minimalist aesthetic and attention to functionality. 

With advanced degrees in Jewelry and Product Design, in 2010 she launched her own brand. With her classical background and strong influence of conceptual research in jewelry making, her statement pieces combine geometric lines and organic elements. Goncalves' pieces are created with traditional handmade techniques, exploring simple and functional shapes. 

Her creations play on the relational boundaries between the inhabited body and the jewel itself, inspired by elements of outer space. Handcrafted minimalism and use of silver as her main material has developed her brand’s signature.
